On March 3rd, 2008. Two nights after Caleb went to be with Jesus, Matt and Dad were at the hospital with Mom and Luke and Josh were at the house with John and Brad. After forcing ourselves to laugh and honor caleb by telling funny stories and making fun of eachother while listening to his ipod blasting through the house this song came on at the very end of the night as we were all getting ready for bed. out of 300+ songs number 11 played. It was a gift from Caleb to us. Thank you Brother. I hold onto you every second of every day.

I went to work after Caleb's funeral service on Thursday morning, and while I was wiping down a tanning bed for the next customer, I heard "only the good die young..." It made me miss Caleb even more and I'd like to think that it was his way of connecting to a friend while he is in Heaven. I've spent every night since Saturday thinking about him, and I had out all of my yearbooks to read what Caleb wrote and to look at his pictures. I don't sleep much because when I close my eyes I see him, and it just breaks my heart to know that so many people are suffering. Then today, my fortune cookie read, "Relax and enjoy yourself." I know that is what Caleb would say if he knew that I was mourning on his behalf. I always want little things like these to seem like he is telling me that everything is okay, and it's not goodbye, only see you later...

I failed to cry during the viewing, shed a few tears during the memorial service, and failed to cry during the funeral. But that night, i came home and listened to this song, and totally lost it. Your "other" brothers will miss you caleb.
as soon as i got home i downloaded that song from itunes. I have listened to it over and over again, I may not have known you well or long Caleb, but I feel like i've known you forever! You were truly a blessing to everyone you met! Enjoy your party in Heaven

This song is amazing. It makes me cry everytime I listen to it. After the funeral i went home downloaded it, and now it is on my computer saved as "Caleb's Song". Caleb you impacted all of our lives so much; before and after you died. Just going to your funeral made me feel good to see how many people showed up for you and how many people loved you so deeply. You touched so many peoples lives that its amazing. Now that your gone, you are still touching peoples lives. You have brought everyone closer and i believe you taught all of us a lesson. We all miss you so much and I still cant believe it is true. I love you and can't wait to see you again! Take care brother! Miss you!!
